How an Interior Refiner® Works...
When working with any service provider who comes into your home – and in particular, one that handles your furniture, art and accessories – it’s important that you know what to expect. Décor Transitions understands that, and respects the fact that you need to know how the refinement process works. 1. Collaboration : Your home and look must reflect your tastes and personality, not mine. While I'll always provide ‘food for thought’ with regard to the creative direction you’re pursuing, I will never attempt to dictate that direction to you or pressure you to move in a direction you’re not comfortable with. 2. Consultation and Design Plan : I’ll visit your home to get a feel for your space, your existing furniture, art and accessories and what you’d like to achieve with your refinement. This is my chance to ask questions and share ideas and suggestions with you. We’ll put together a Design Plan that will cover everything from floor to ceiling – paint, lighting, color, window treatments, new furniture and accessories, and how we’ll accomplish the plan within your budget and time commitment. The Design Plan is delivered the same day and includes a source list of vendors that I recommend, everything from painters to great out of the way boutiques. 3. Refining Your Space : By the time I leave all questions will be answered and with the Design Plan you’ll be organized and able to finish the room within your own time frame and budget. 4. Fees : With many interior decorators and interior designers, you won’t know what their fee is until the project is well underway or completed. That’s something you’ll never need to worry about when working with Décor Transitions. Before I begin work, you’ll know what your investment is because my fee is based on a flat rate.
