Meet Karen
Hello...my name is Karen Radique and I am a certified Interior Refiner with Décor Transitions specializing in One-Day-Redecorating using the furniture and accessories that you already have, therefore saving you time and money. I have been around the Arts, Craft and Beauty world for most of my life and at one time studied to become a Custom Clothing Designer taking classes in textiles, design, tailoring, flat pattern making and draping; thus creating a great understanding of color, balance, proportion and space.
Having helped friends and family redecorate their homes for years, I decided to become a professional and am proud to say that I studied with Lauri Ward, the well-known New York interior designer and best-selling author of "Use What You Have Decorating" and several other best-selling books. Ms. Ward is the pioneer of the one-day redecorating industry and founder of the international not-for-profit organization, the Interior Refiners Network, of which I am a member.
Your home will reflect your taste and personality, because I work in all design styles. The Consultation may include rearrangement of furniture and accessories, and always, a written Design Plan that covers everything from floor to ceiling……Paint, Lighting, Color, Window Treatments, Furniture and Accessories.
I am a member of the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce and the Interior Refiners Network…..the Pre-eminent Organization of One-Day Redecorators!
